In Harmony With Women
Our all-female groups are a great way to socialise and be yourself in an informal, relaxed and safe place. We want to give women a time out - to gather their thoughts/ fears/ hopes/ dreams.
We want to encourage women to connect and build positive, supportive relationships with each other, whilst discussing common experiences and learning and sharing coping strategies - to empower themselves and those around them.
"It's a space where you can process your thoughts out loud without judgement, where you are able to express the reality of your emotions and experiences, as opposed to what society/ friends/family expects - Where you don't need to feel obliged to say I'm fine."
We want to facilitate Peer to Peer Emotional and Practical Support around Life Challenges. We want to provide a place where you are free to talk about your own mental health/ life experiences - or not: the support group gives space and freedom to make that choice.
Peer support groups means people getting support from one another, (they are not therapy groups), although, for some, they may have a therapeutic benefit.
All groups are led by a facilitator or co-facilitators whose roles are to encourage the group to develop and flourish in a safe, non-judgmental and inclusive way.
The facilitator and you will be able to:· > Listen to other women's experiences and share your own (if you want to) > Feel less alone and isolated > Remind yourself of your strengths and start to rediscover them > Be accepted for who you are, without judgement or discrimination > Be encouraged to be positive and confident about yourself, your children and your relationships.

All members of our group are in a similar situation to yourself- you are not alone.
Gain practical self- help tools This group offers an opportunity to help others with your own lived experiences Group activities that are focused around your Mental Health and Well-being A safe place to discuss your thoughts and feelings- confidentiality is key. Every Last Thursday of the Month 11:30am-13:00pm £2 includes refreshments
